Today I'm sharing a delicious alternative to the traditional bolognese sauce - vegetarian bolognese sauce! As a vegetarian (and just a carb lover in general), pasta is one of my favorite meals.   6. Add mix to mushrooms
  7. Add mixed herbs and mix together
  8. Add veg mix
  9. Add passata and mix and simmer for 2 hours minimum, add water as needed
  10. After 2 hours add choped basil leaves simmer for 1 hour
  11. Add salt and pepper to taste
  12. Boil pasta and when 75% cooked add to mix
  13. Mix and simmer for 5 mins stirring regularly
  14. Serve with grated cheese of choice and garlic bread, or in this case cheese and pear soda bread.
