The ingredients needed to make Vegetarian Momos:
  1. Make ready 1 big cut of plain flour
  2. Prepare 1 cup water
  3. Take Cooked vegetables for stuffing
  4. Prepare 1 Small Cabbage grated

  6. Make ready 2 capsicums finely chopped
  7. Get 2 green chillies finely chopped
  8. Prepare Salt to taste, one tablespoon vinegar, one table spoon dark soya
  9. Take Tomato sauce
  10. Take 4 Tomatoes
  11. Prepare 10-12 red chillies
  12. Get 1 tea spoon vinegar
  13. Make ready 1 tablespoon dark soya sauce
  14. Make ready 1 teaspoon Oil for frying vegetables

They are then either steamed or in this case cooked in the air fryer creating a portable snack for any occasion. Serve these momos hot with favorite sauce, such as chutney. As I have mentioned above, momos are dumplings made with flour and a savory stuffing. This stuffing can be made with veggies, sea-food, chicken or paneer (cottage cheese).

Instructions to make Vegetarian Momos:
  1. Mix flour and pinch of salt in a bowl and make a soft dough snd let it sit for 1 hour.
  2. For stuffing take oil and add all the vegetables in the pan
  3. Add salt vinegar and soya sauce to them and fry until all the vegetables become soft then switch off the flame
  4. Let the vegetables cool down completely
  5. Now take dough and Knead it again for 5 minutes.
  6. Take small portion and roll it with rolling pin into a small poori shape.
  7. Add the vegetable mixture in the middle and make of to your desired shape.
  8. Add all the momos in the momos basket and steam them for 15 to 20 minutes on medium flame
  9. Serve hot with the sauce

Method of cooking: Momos can be steamed, baked or deep-fried. We prefer steamed momos over the fried ones.
