- First blend all these=onion+ginger+garlic.make a smooth paste and strain extra water from it
- Now blend tomatoes
- Now in a heavy base pan first put only paste of onion
- Cover it on high flame and soak quickly whole water.now in other small pan dry roast all spices and let it keep
- Now in same pan put some oil and roast cumin seeds
- Add it to onion mixture and let cook on high flame constantly
- When it looks golden add tomatoes paste and dry roast spices together
- Now stay on high flame and stir constantly
- When it start leaving oil just then curry is ready
- Add boiled rajma any time and add estimated water to make thick gravy
- Enjoy quick rajma
I like rajma best with simple jeera (cumin) rice. Of course, some roti would be great too.. Quick easy and delicious weeknight meal! Didn't bother making a paste just cut the onions garlic and ginger fine. Next time I will add more liquid mine didn't have enough of a sauce.
