  7. Add the cut okra and let cook for about 30 minutes until okra is soft. Too long and the okra will get slimey
  8. Put on rice
  9. Sprinkle file'on prepared bowl of gumbo and serve

In the large stock pot add the strained turkey stock, turn the heat to high, and then add the chopped onions, celery, bell pepper, and garlic. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer.
