  3. Also, in a ziplock bag, add in the peanuts and with a rolling pin, crash up the nuts until the desired chunkiness is reached.
  4. After the sugar melts (this will take a while, be patient), take it of the heat and whisk in the butter and baking soda. The mixture will bubble up a little. Immediately add in the peanuts and with a wooden spoon/spatula stir it well to coat all the peanuts.
  5. Now working quickly, transfer the mixture to a greased or parchment paper lined flat surface like the back of a baking tray and with the spatula, spread the mixture out and pat it down to tightly pack it and to get a smooth surface.
  6. Leave at room temperature until it firms up completely. Then break into pieces and serve. Store these in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks and in ziplock bags in the freezer for at most 1 month. Enjoy!
