- Make ready 4.5 lbs groundbeef
- Get 2 tablespoons Seasoning of choice(Dale's seasonings)
- Prepare 1 can petite diced tomatoes
- Make ready 1 can tomato sauce
- Get 1 can roasted corn
- Make ready 2 large can of tomatoe juice
- Make ready 6 packets Chilli powder
- Get 1 can black beans
- Take 1 can chilli beans

- Take 1 small onion diced petite and sauteed
- Prepare Toppings to add to the chilli
- Prepare Shredded Cheese
- Get Jalapeno peppers
- Prepare Hot sauce
- Prepare Sour cream
- Get Spaghetti
- Prepare 1 batch cornbread
- Make ready Petite diced onions
- Prepare Tortilla chips
- Prepare Oyster Crackers
Whether I'm cheering on the local team on a Friday night or enjoying a Saturday afternoon of Oklahoma Sooner football with some friends, I enjoy serving this chili on game day. —Chris Neal, Quapaw, Oklahoma Now add the remaining chili powder and another dash of salt and pepper, but DO NOT add brown sugar until after the chili is finished simmering. When done simmering, add the brown sugar and stir well. Serve with milk and crackers, or top with sour cream and cheese. Note: For spicier chili, omit brown.
Instructions to make Football Chilli:
- In skillet fry the ground beef.(I use Dale's seasoning or you can use my recipe I make when I run out of Dale's) Season with my substitute version of Dale's, or dale's seasoning picture below. In a real pinch use Worcestershire, steak seasoning (I use longhorn).
- Saute the onions in butter in the same pan that you fried the groundbeef in til desired doneiness.
- In large pot add the juice, sauce, beans, chilli powder, petite tomatoes, corn, cooked groundbeef and the sauteed onions. Let simmer for 1/2 hr.
- Ladle up a bowl of chilli. Top with toppings of choice (I like cornbread, cheese, sour cream and hot sauce). Enjoy.
What a hearty chili that's full of meat and beans. It's perfect for fall and football season. The tomato and chilies give this chili a little bit of a bite but not too overpowering. Chili powder and cumin add a ton of flavor. This is a great chili recipe if you're serving a large group.
