  6. Let it rise in a warm place for about 30-60 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 C.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. Turn in the middle if necessary.
  8. Sprinkle powdered sugar.

Allow the stollen to cool, then brush with butter again, and sprinkle with sugar again. Wrap in plastic wrap until ready to serve. The first and most famous variety of stollen is the Dresdner Christstollen. Put the flour and sugar in a large bowl. Add the yeast on one side of the bowl and the salt on the other.
