Instructions to make Yogurt Parfait:
  1. Heat 1/2 cup of water into the microwave for 50 seconds at high power.
  2. Soak the dates & apricots into the hot water for 10 minutes.
  3. Now mix the oats, honey & almonds into a microwave-safe utensil and put the utensil into the microwave.
  4. Microwave the mixture for 2 minutes at high power & the granola mixture is ready.
  5. Remove the dates & apricots from the soaking liquid and mix them with the apples.
  6. Now it's time to arrange the parfait layers. For that firstly pour some beaten yogurt into a transparent serving glass.
  7. Then sprinkle a generous amount of granola mixture on top of the yogurt layer.
  8. Then pour some more yogurt on top.
  9. Then spread some of the fruit mixture on top.
  10. Again sprinkle some granola mixture & in a similar manner repeat the layers.
  11. Finally, sprinkle some more granola mixture on top & serve.

What type of yogurt is best for making yogurt parfaits? You can use regular yogurt, Greek yogurt, dairy-free yogurt, whatever you like will work fine. I personally like to use regular because I like the texture, but if you want to up your protein or like a thicker consistency, Greek yogurt may be a better option for you.
