- for the tarragon sauce . melt butter in medium saucepan, over medium heat. add flour ,mustard, tarragon, salt and pepper to the melted butter.stir until a thick sauce forms. slowly stir in whipping cream, cook, stirring constant ,until 5 to 8 minutes are untill sauce thickens,
- to serve spoon about 2 tablespoons of sauce onto each plate, place asparagus -crescent rolls ontop of sauce.serve immediately.
